Volunteer Interest Form

Friends of the Block is a litter control program and neighborhood beautification effort. Volunteers/teams adopt designated routes throughout Carnegie and organize clean-up events to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming neighborhoods for all residents and visitors. Team members develop familiarity and a sense of ownership over their routes and assist CCDC board members to identify neighborhood quality of life issues. Individual volunteers (smaller areas) or volunteer teams (larger areas) coordinate their own outings/events, registering events in advance and reporting after each event.

You can either sign up as a individual volunteer designated to a your own specific area, an individual volunteer that is interested in being added to a team, or a team captain. Team captains are responsible for coordinating group cleanups of their designated area as well as helping to recruit other volunteers.

*Submission of the form below does not confirm your participation.

After you submit, a volunteer coordinator will be in contact with you to review your interest, walk you through the program, and get you registered.
